Hi everyone. I am the creator of Om Nama Veg*n society for WA. This website was created with the purpose of connecting vegans and vegetarians in Perth as well as providing a source of information for those who want to learn more.
Om Nama aims at taking action against injustices in a peaceful and tolerant way. Victory attained by violence is tantamount to a defeat, for it is momentary, as Gandhi once said and remember that you must be the change you want to see in the world.
Fact of the matter is, meat is not required to live a healthy life, so why do animals have to die to please a humans appetite? We are not savages but rather, civilised human beings who do not need meat to live a healthy lifestyle.

DAIRY FREE EASTER EGGS!
These eggs are completely vegan friendly. The novelty ones are available in Target. The egg on the far right is available in Kmart, MYER & Priceline. The eggs are by Kinnerton. Ensure you check the label, though because a lot of their eggs also contain milk. You need to make sure it says dairy free on the front!!

Alpha are manufacturers of dairy-free chocolate creams, chocolate-coated orange straws, chocolate-coated ginger bites, chocolate liqueurs, gift chocolates, Easter eggs, Valentine's Day chocolates and cooking chocolate. Available from Myer, David Jones and some Chocolate Box stores. I also have found that the big eggs are now available at Supa IGA in Wanneroo. If anybody sees them anywhere else let me know!

VEGAN CREAM CHEESE!
Tofutti are actually an american company who have a huge selection of dairy free products, they do sour cream, ice cream, cheese, cookies & other frozen foods. Unfortunately, all Perth are lucky enough to get are the cream cheeses! You can find them in Woolies in Whitefords (all the flavours) and possibly other Woolies.
